BKS sources Cotton, Polycotton, Polyester, Linen and Viscose yarns in various counts ranging from 4’s to 100’s, from reputed spinning mills in Tamil Nadu and South India.
The procured yarn is tested for various quality parameters like Count, CSP, Twist, Evenness etc., and once found satisfactory, our quality assurance team passes the yarn to the production process.
The weaving preparatory unit of BKS is equipped with state of the art machineries that include four automatic warping machines and two multi-cylinder sizing machines to feed warp to in-house weaving as well as for vendor operations.
Capacity is 180 Tons / Month
The weaving unit of BKS is installed with 36 Dobby shuttle-less ITEMA Rapier looms.
All looms are equipped with 20 shaft and 4 color, capable of producing 25,000 mtrs/day of premium quality fabrics up to 345cms width, including weaves like Twill, Drill, Satin, Stripe Satin, Percale, Dobby, Satin Band, Oxford, Matt etc. All our looms are connected with online “INTEX” loom monitoring system, for live data capturing of quality and productivity.
We have engaged around 250 looms for contract weaving where in we have Air jet, Rapier, Sulzer, Ruti-C and Power looms to produce different qualities of fabrics according to our customers specifications.From these facilities, we produce around 75,000 meters of fabrics per day.
We are located in Palladam area which is one of the weaving hubs of India and hence contract weaving can be scaled up depending on the business volume.
BKS Processing facility, located in SIPCOT Perundurai Erode District , is a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit with Continuous Bleaching Range ( CBR ) , Continuous dyeing range ( CDR ) and Rotary printing machines. We can take up processing on griege fabric up to 78’’ and finish up to 72’’.
We can do RFD, RFP, Bleaching, Dyeing, Printing and Coating on 100% Cotton, Polycotton, 100% Polyester, Viscose, Poly-Viscose, Linen, Tencel, Modal and Blended fabrics.
Our printing facility is equipped with Stormac RD-6 gold make, 12 colour Rotary Printing Machine with printable width up to 72’’.
For high precision printing, Screen making is with Smart LEX 7043 (Laser Exposure technology) which can expose screen width up to 120’’ and output is 50 screens/day.
We have Climaterizer – Clima 1850 and CAD with latest version colour separation software.
We can handle all kinds of printing like reactive, pigment and disperse on various base fabrics like 100% cotton, polycotton, 100% polyester, viscose , linen etc., the production output is 29000 mtrs/day.
With latest technology and state of the art machines, we can cater to all high quality printing needs for made ups and apparel end use.
In PHWP premises, BKS has set up a state of the art sewing factory in an area of 100,000 sq.ft. Currently the unit is equipped with 350 sophisticated sewing machines including single needle, double needle and Zigzag machines from the renowned makers of Juki, Brother. The production output per day from this factory is 2000 sheet sets, 5000 shopping bags, 2000 pcs of Table linens, 50,000 pcs Napkin and 3000 Blankets.
In BKS Sewing, is also Located in head office premises, is equipped with 50 sewing machines comprising of sophisticated ( Juki & Brother ) 3 thread over-lock and single needle machines capable of seaming out 35,000 pieces of face towels for beauty & wellness industry.
As a step forward in the Value Chain, B.K.S. Textiles has ventured into the challenging field of Coated Technical Textiles.
The coating division is equipped with state-of-art machinery for coating woven fabrics up to 70” (178 cms ).

Our in house laboratory is equipped with sophisticated instruments for testing of various physical and chemical parameters from yarn to ﬁnished fabric.
We have all the necessary instruments to ensure quality in each stage.
The above said production activities are planned and monitored through our ERP system “INTEX” (Germany) a well renowned software from Germany, specially designed for Textile Industry.
BKS is in the process of migrating to SAP S4 HANA FMS Software.
