Yarn

BKS Textiles sources Cotton, Polycotton, Polyester, Linen, and Viscose yarns in various counts ranging from 4’s to 100’s, from reputed spinning mills in Tamil Nadu and South India.

The procured yarn is tested for various quality parameters such as count, CSP, twist, evenness, etc., and once found satisfactory, our quality assurance team passes the yarn to the production process.

Weaving Preparatory

The weaving preparatory unit of BKS Textiles is equipped with a state-of-the-art machinery that includes four automatic warping machines and two multi-cylinder sizing machines to feed warp to in-house weaving as well as for vendor operations.

Weaving

At BKS Textiles, our weaving facility features 36 Dobby shuttle-less ITEMA Rapier looms, each with 20 shafts and 4 colours, capable of producing fabrics up to 345 cm wide. With a daily output of 25,000 meters in-house and 75,000 meters through contract weaving, we create diverse weaves including Twill, Drill, Satin, Dobby, Percale, Oxford, and more. All looms are integrated with an online data monitoring system for real-time efficiency and quality control. Supported by a strong supply chain network with AirJet, Rapier, and Sulzer looms, we ensure shorter lead times and consistent excellence for our global customers.

Processing

Woven Fabrics Processing

  • BKS Textiles is equipped with state-of-the-art woven fabrics processing facility,wherein we can handle bleaching, dyeing, finishing of greige fabrics from 20”- 128″
  • The facility is equipped with Osthoff singeing, Kuster CBR and Mercerizer, Monforts E-control Dyeing (eco-friendly or salt-free dyeing), and Monforts Sanforizer, Kuster Calender and Biancalani Airo finish.
  • Processes: Singeing, Desizing, Bleaching, Mercerizing, E-control Dyeing, Cold Pad Batch Dyeing, Jigger Dyeing for small lots, Calendering, Sanforizing and Airo Finish.
  • The unit’s production capacity is about 75,000 mtrs/day of narrow width fabrics (up to 72”) and 50,000 mtrs/day of wider width fabrics (up to 130”).
  • We can handle processing of 100% cotton, polyester, polycotton, Tencel, bamboo, viscose, modal, linen, hemp, and blended fabrics.

Digital and Technological Orientation in Woven Fabric Processing

We are strengthening our woven fabric processing framework for both apparel and home textiles by adding a strong digital and technology dimension.

  • Automation in machines: All processing machines will be equipped with automation systems to capture real-time data.
  • Data collection: Key parameters like production output, efficiency, utilization, stoppages, and quality will be automatically recorded.
  • Process monitoring: Detailed data on temperature, water levels, pH, chemical concentration, moisture, and other process conditions will be tracked digitally.
  • Chemical & utility measurement: Usage of chemicals and utilities will be automatically captured to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Inspection & finishing: Automatic inspection systems will replace manual checks, eliminating human error. We will also introduce auto shade measurement, auto cutting, and auto packing to further improve consistency and reduce mistakes.
  • Decision-making: All operational decisions will be based on accurate, real-time data, ensuring higher productivity, better quality, and future-ready practices.

Laboratory

Our in-house textile testing laboratory is NABL accredited under ISO/IEC 17025, demonstrating our technical competence and commitment to globally recognized quality standards. The laboratory is dedicated to ensuring quality, reliability, and performance in every fabric. Equipped with advanced instruments and operated by skilled professionals, we conduct a wide range of physical, chemical, and performance tests for yarns and fabrics. Each analysis is carried out in accordance with international standards such as ISO, ASTM, and AATCC, ensuring accurate and dependable results.
